If there is something that the Danish people can be proud of is their contribution to the world through the creation of Legos. They were a toy for children based around the world. Imagination brought to life throughout the model we decided to create with our Legos. If ever there is a toy that has defined a global culture, it is certainly Legos.

My nephew is a complete crackpot Lego. He grabs catalogs and almost always against his mom or dad to buy him a new "game", especially if it's the theme of Star Wars in any way.He is autistic and creativity never ceases to amaze me. It can take the same parts, and to so many interesting things. I was a kid very creative with my Legos, but my nephew is absolutely amazing!

Tweeted today on a Company dear to my heart, and how they are creatively using current events to stay in the minds of consumers (and collectors):

On Aug. 5, NASA's Juno spacecraft began its five-year journey to the planet Jupiter. Not generally known to the broader public, there are three "crew members" aboard, and they've all signed up for the duration of the trip. These "crew members" are in fact Lego representations of the Roman god Jupiter, his wife Juno, and Galileo Galilei, the Renaissance astronomer who made many important discoveries about our solar system.
